All Wines Exports

The winemaking process in Chile can be traced back to the XVI century, when the country use to be part of the Kingdom of Chile, under the rule of the Spanish Crown. The Chilean Wine Industry becomes as such in the 80’s, during the XX century. In fact, Chilean wines exports rise steadily since 1978 from USD 10 million FOB to USD 1,999.5 million FOB in 2018, with 850.7 million litres at the average price per litre doubled in this period, arriving to USD 2,35. This report shows volume, value, prices and the evolution of those figures.

All Wines exports is a general report regarding all wines categories (bottled wine, bulk wine, sparkling wines and others) exports since 1978 in terms of FOB (Free on Board) value exports in USD (United States of America Dollar) and the amount of merchandise in litres of wine as well as the average export price per annum. On the other hand all wines exports from 1995 to 2014 are also exposed with the associated values of planted surface of vines for wine production, as well as wine production and other associated values, in figures, graphics and tables.
