ONA Special Reserve wine collection was created to remember the disappeared ONA culture. The indigenous Fuegians belonged to several tribes including the distinctive Ona (Selk’nam), were the first inhabitants of Tierra del Fuego Island, in the Chilean Patagonia. The Onas (Selk’nams) lived on the inland extensive plain of the big island of Tierra del Fuego, hunting herds of guanaco and endemic birds. They kept away from civilization for as long as any other indigenous ethnic group, maintaining their spirit intact for centuries until its extinction in the early XX century. The ONA Special Reserve range from Viña Anakena rescue that courageous and daring spirit, offering wines in accordance to the characteristics of their origin and elegance, refinement and audacity.
