When norwegian armador (shipowner) Dan Odfjell founded his winery, he embarked upon an adventure filled with challenge and promise. “Orzada” is a nautical term for sailing up against the wind before setting a direction – the Orzada wines reflect the attitude to staking a course in pursuit of beautiful and memorable wines. Odfjell is committed to being a leader in progressive vineyard management, and we are dedicated to elevating the image and practice of viticulture in Chile. The goal of this work is to produce the best possible wines in the vineyards, while maintaining our long-term commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental winemaking practices. For this reason, our vineyards are 100% organic and we have also recently begun biodynamic farming. This wine come from grapes from 50 year old vines of the Lontué Valley vineyards.
