From the 38,000 kg of the total harvest of the 6.3 ha planted with an average of 600 g/m² the healthy grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon for Nahuel#2 were handpicked chosen only 6,000 kg. The remaining 32 tonnes were sold to one of the largest producers in the area. In the following years we have the inetention to successively increase our wine production. The maceration was performing for 5 days with 8°C, after initiation of alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. 50% traditional fermentation in stainless steel tank and 50% in new barrels pisoneado open for 12 days with maximum 28°C. Three days finished fermentation, pressing at maximum 0.8 bars. Subsequently biological degradation of malic acid for three weeks and stabilization with 50 mg /l sulfuric acid was performed. Aging: 10 months, half in new French oak barrels and half in stainless steel tanks. Alcohol: 13.5% vol. Number of bottles: 5,980.-

Pairing: It will be a good companion at lunchtime, at picnics or to drink it with strong chesses. Serve at 16-18°C (60-68°F).
Tasting notes:
Colour: Deep and dense ruby red colour.
Aromas: Ripe super intense nose. Aromas of black cherries, wild berries and a touch of wood well integrated.
Palate: Soft and pleasant attack on the mouth, layers of flavour almost sweet but finishing dry and complex. Pleasant tannins combine effortlessly with a fresh acidity. Fruity, fresh and with a good body.
