The grapes for this wine were grown in vineyards planted on slopes with northern exposure, on the shores of Lake Colbún. It is a structured and mineral wine that can remember the graphite and red fruits. Harvested in mid – late April, there is a strict vineyard management, taking care of the grape clusters and reducing yields, manual harvesting was performed early in the morning in boxes of 12 kg, grinding and draining ponds by gravity, maceration during alcoholic fermentation during 22-30 days and stored in French oak barrels for 14 months. This is a Merlot blended with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon reminding a classic Bordeaux style. A wine able to accompany all meat has soft tannins and good freshness. A special work with Merlot grapes had been done, in fresh and cold area of Colbún Lake vineyards planted on specific soil for this variety, which is providing special care to quality. Bottling and stored in bottles for more than a year before going to market.
