Álvaro Espinoza and his wife Marina run their own winery in the Maipo Valley. They are Biodynamic certified and they have all sorts of wildlife in the vineyards including animals. They have just built a stunning new winery in the Maipo Alto. Antiyal Vineyards are located in the Maipo Valley, in three different locations, in Huelquén at the foothills of the Alto Maipo, another property in El Escorial and the third property in Isla de Maipo. They grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Syrah and Petit Verdot. The three vineyards are small, completing a total of 8 hectares of vineyards, and yields are low at 5 tonnes per hectare, allowing a carefull work in the vines. The grapes are grown bio-dynamically under sustainable practices.
