The berries are picked from various 25 year old Malbec vineyards in the Maule region, ususally at the end of April each year. The grapes are chose from the estates of José Manuel Donoso and Laurent Teillet, two well-established growers from the Maule region.

Tasting notes:
Colour: Deep purplish-reddish in colour.
Aromas: This Altamana Malbec is fruity and elegant on the nose, opening with aromas of fresh strawberries accompanied by notes of violets, leading on to fine notes of tobacco leaf and cinnamon that lend complexity to the wine.
Palate: The medium-bodied palate is very lively and fresh, and the elegance of this Altamana Malbec with soft tannins and sharp acidity allow us to predict good aging potential.
