Tasting notes:

Colour: Dark deep red.
Aromas: The nose, elegant and layered, reveals pure and delicate aromas of ripe cassis, blackberries and wild strawberries.
Palate: The mouth shows spicy berry-flavoured, great acidity and elegance, red fruit flavours (raspberry and strawberry) with a subtle white pepper spicy note.

This extraordinary wine possesses a blend of Mediterranean varieties whose features are enhanced by have been brought up from the granitic and dryland soils of San Javier, and all the tradition in the form of winemaking. The low yield per plant close to 1 kilo was due mainly that they have few clusters. The Grenache and the Mourvèdre, the Carignan and Syrah were harvested manually, between the first and 15th of April, and then fermented in small stainless steel tanks. After soft cap immersion during alcoholic fermentation between 24 to 26 ° C, to a guard was delivered into second use French oak barrels for twelve months, with use of native yeasts.Malolactic fermentation was carried out and the wine was stored for approximately 1 year, seeking greater structure, elegance and complexity. There is no wonder that Robert Parker gave 90 point to this, a youg wine, and the local Descorchados wine tasting gave it 91 points.

The production of this Las Veletas Grenache and the Mourvèdre, the Carignan and Syrah wine was the year 2014 when the harvest was warmer than in 2013 so began the first days of April, with a normal season maturity. The grapes for this wine were handpicked in 12 kg crates on the vineyard during from early morning until before noon time. After milling and gravity pouring into stainless steel containers were soaking during alcoholic fermentation for 22-25 days, using native yeasts. The malolactic fermentation is carried out and wine is stored in wooden casks for 12 months, attaining very particular and exclusive enological features. These grapes grow and ripen on vineyards planted on circular shaped terraces, on granite and slate grounds, with northeast exposition, under a strict management of the 20 years old vineyards.
