Acrux, the first Star, is the brightest star in the Southern Cross constellation. In the sixteenth century European astronomers described it as “so fair and beautiful that no other heavenly sign may be compared to it”. Sutil Family Wines so named this wine because the various grape varieties which go into the blend come from the oldest vineyards in the estate which produce distinctive wines of an exceptionally bright and fruity character.

Sutil Family Wines’ winemaking team procures to produce season after season an elegant wine with character and personality to deserve the chosen named of Acrux. It has a deep dark red colour, a complex aroma profile, with spicy notes like pepper and nutmeg, which complement perfectly with ripe fruit aromas.
