With Caliterra Edición Limitada the company winemaking team aims to create wines of origin, each of which incorporates the varieties that best express the purity of our terroir. Made in small quantities, these wines are an exploration of that which is distinctive and innovative with an elegant style that portrays our Winemaker’s special attention to the smallest of details. Caliterra Edición Limitada B 2011 reflects the tremendous structure and elegance of varieties from Bordeaux. For this exceptional blend we have chosen varieties from small blocks on our terroir that reflect faithfully the wines from that region.

Composition: 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit Verdot and 9% Merlot

Pairing: This wine will be a good companion with almost any red meat, especially served rare and cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C (60-68°F).
Tasting notes:
Colour: Bright ruby-red in colour.
Aromas: The elegant nose bursts forward with aromas of forest fruits such as blueberries, cherries, and raspberries, followed by the notes of spices and rosemary that appear gradually as the wine opens.
Palate: On the palate this smooth and elegant wine offers rich acidity and structure that foretells that the wine will age very well in the bottle.
